The IRO, NGC, and the portal
This portal connects Nisga'a Economic Development entities and Nisga'a-owned companies with contract opportunities flowing from Impact Benefit Agreements on major projects in the territory. It replaces ad-hoc emails and SharePoint with a single, shared system.
The Industrial Relations Office (IRO)
IRO is the Nisga'a Lisims Government function that manages relationships with industry partners operating in Nisga'a territory and tracks the contracting and employment commitments those partners make through Impact Benefit Agreements. IRO distributes procurement opportunities to Nisga'a entities, tracks engagement, and reports on outcomes.
Nisga'a Growth Corporation (NGC)
NGC is the Nation-owned economic development corporation building sustainable prosperity for Nisga'a citizens. It works alongside Ec-Dev entities, Nisga'a-owned companies, and partners and stewards the long-term economic strategy for the Nation.
How the portal fits in
The portal is not a CRM. It is Nisga'a-centric: every screen, metric, and report starts from Nisga'a economic capacity and measures opportunity against it. Industry partners are supporting context.
The public side of the portal showcases entities and hosts reference documents (the Nisga'a Business Tier Policy, procurement engagement plans, etc.). The authenticated side runs the procurement workflow — postings, downloads, interest signals, bids, awards, and the reporting that flows from all of it.
